This may be the only time you ever see a graphic showing Fayetteville and LR as equals.

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for most of northern and central Arkansas from Thursday evening through Friday afternoon.
We'll remain in a mild pattern for much of the 1st half of this week. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s both today and tomorrow. Fog will remain or reform, as the case may be, tonight in many areas of the state.
That's it, then, for the mild part of the forecast. Cold, Arctic air will spill into the state Thursday with rainfall becoming likely and falling temperatures. The rain should turn into a wintry mix of freezing rain and sleet across northern Arkansas as readings go below freezing. Late Thursday night into Friday we could even see some ice accumulation as far south as the LR Metro area. The most significant threat of icing is in the northern and western areas of Arkansas, but central Arkansas will likely see some icing and some accumulation of sleet during the day Friday.
Very cold air then moves in for Friday night and Saturday. Another wave of moisture will move through the state with that cold air in place Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Some additional icing potential exists with that second round of wintry weather.
Forecast
Looks like we've got Winter Storm Cleon headed our way with snow, sleet and freezing rain. Time to make a run to the liquor store folks.

Such a beautiful day today. Oh well, lets test out the 4x4.

We have a pallet of ice melt. Gonna move the generator into the garage tonight.
If we get a lot of ice we could see power outages. Be prepared.
That said, the news stations get good ratings during snow/sleet/ice events and sometimes the event is a little overblown.

Why do you wanna play with shite?
Also, there is no better sex weather than snow/ice storms
I wonder how many illegitimate children were conceived the last major ice storm 4 years ago?
