Shon Carson to start this week against Coastal

MD28 is still banged up, and they want to rest him more for the clemson game. Carson had 13 carries for 102 yards against UF, so they trust him carrying the rock and after all, it's Coastal (who is a great FCS team, but they're still just an FCS team.)

Not too surprising.
Wish they had let David Williams play this year. Still think it was dumb to redshirt him. Doubtful he stays 5 years and he could have contributed a good bit with Davis being gimpy and Wilds being out since UCF

I'm thinking the game could end up like the Troy game in 2010 but if we're rotating QBs and Davis isn't starting I could see it still being close at halftime unfortunately.
It would be great if the offense could get back into their early season groove heading into the Clemson game

Brandon Wilds is going to get quite a few carries as well - but I hope Shon has a good game and continues to improve. He's always had the talent, just hasn't had the mindset. It appears that is starting to change.

Yeah, I don't understand why we RS Williams but play Jabari Smith. I would think it would be the other way around, honestly.
