This thread stems from the vitriol they spewed during his recruitment, their echoes on how they really didn't want him, how he was going to suck

Only AU posters brought this into the thread.

I spoke with Robinson on his official after the Ole Miss game. I happened to have a bench pass for that game. He brought a handler with him for the visit.

He made a good decision going to Auburn, and I have no doubt without injury, he can have some productive seasons in the NFL.

But, Kiper is out of his mind on this one. Robinson's play last year was barely acceptable in the SEC. I watched him a lot when reviewing game tapes. I know what I'm talking about.

Kiper is trying to make a splash here by throwing a name out there that hasn't had much pub. NFL talent guys are not going to drool over and waste a first round pick on a blindside tackle for a running team.

I'm willing to make one of those childish internet bets with any of you internet jackasses that Greg Robinson doesn't go in the first round of the NFL draft.

Sig quote, team logo, banishment, whatever. I'd prefer money, but not sure that could be arranged, and it would have to be a substantial amount to make it worth my while.

Regardless, glad to see a LA kid getting some love. Not like this state doesn't have the highest number of NFL players per capita.

Does that carry over to next year also?
