Generally speaking, if my team(A) loses to another team(B), then I want team B to win out the rest of the season. I especially want teams from SEC E to beat their opponents from SEC W. But under current circumstances of division race, I can understand the desire of USCjr fans to see Mizzou lose.
BTW, I don't think I would be be blabbing on a sports board because my team could not win it on its own merit.

They will be winning it on their own merit. Why does it matter when a team loses?

Folks like to say backing in to the Championship but it's really bunk. Say Mizz loses the next two. There's no difference if those losses came early in the year or late.

I've never understood that.

I reserve the right to say UG backed in at any time though.

Generally speaking means when you have no chance to win the east. I do the same. You would have a hard time convincing anyone that if the roles were reversed you would not pull for OM.
