It allows you to squeeze in more games on the schedule over the NCAA max w/o tourney to the max with tourney.

The other teams compete in a tournament in N. Carolina (IIRC).

If this team puts out any want and effort, Cal will be very beatable.

Nice, thanks. I agree, I think we can compete with Cal and make a decent run as long as we don't have a horrible scoring drought like we did tonight.

Don't know about Cal. They're 4-0, but the teams they played are a combined 1-13. Oakland is the only team that they've played that has been decent in recent years.
