Unfortunately it seems Boom has a certain style of offense he wants to run. This will probably be his undoing.

Exactly. The game on sat night proved it to me. We're 4-5, open it up take a f'n chance. What did we have to lose?
I know, I know the QB was making his first start. But guess what so was Mizzou's that game they lit us up for 36 points.
If Skyler was good enough to get a scholarship to UF. Is it too much of a stretch to think he can throw the ball 10 to 20 yards down the field maybe more than 4 times before the last drives of the 4th quarter? The guy was 2 of 2 for 8yds passing at halftime.

Mauck is lucky though....he has guys like DGB and all those small forward sized WR's to throw to. All of Mizzou's skill players are better than UF's, except maybe Kelvin Taylor, but he's a true frosh.

It's weird, but UF simply has no legit talent at the skill positions. That, coupled with Boom's conservative philosophy, injured QB's, and mediocre OL play results in the kind of offense that you see every week from the Gators.
