That's because he did choose to go to Auburn instead of waiting to enroll in the fall at LSU. He was never told he couldn't enroll, just that he couldn't enroll early. He wanted to enroll early so he went to Auburn. Like I said though, I didn't like it. It was a shitty move. That being said, he was never told he couldn't come to LSU. He just couldn't come when he wanted to.

Searching around on google for a few minutes and I can't find anything that says that he actually showed up and was turned away also. While you may be right, I don't remember that actually happening. I found 1 article that has a quite from him saying the situation was just better at Auburn, hunting that he was never turned away from LSU at all. Whatever the case, I'm pretty he sure he didn't show up and told he couldn't enroll when he got there.
