Did I mention the volleyball team is 33-0(17-0)? Updated 11/24

Yepp. Won again tonight, sweeping Auburn 3-0 and improving their record to 28-0 (12-0). What's crazy is that they've only lost 7 sets all season and never lost more than 1 set in a match yet. If you're counting sets or games or whatever, that's like 84-7.

This is a pretty cool story with this team. Will be following in the future.

Never really followed volleyball before. Daughter started playing some so it caught my eye earlier on and they just keep winning. Kind of nuts. Much like the football team, they're not getting much respect in the polls considering their record, so it's given them a little extra reason to keep on keeping on.

The poll ranking is what is most surprising. They beat #2 weeks ago. Are there really 6 undefeated teams ahead of them?

They've had a decent program for the last 12 years or so. Never really been this dominant before, but I've only been following for about a decade.
Here is some historic info I found...couldn't find an online media guide.

Only 6 more games in the regular season, four of which are the road. One of those road games is against Florida, which could very well decide the conference winner. Stay tuned sports fans.

No. In fact when I looked a while back, Stanford was ranked ahead of them and had like 4 or 5 losses. Florida who we beat was ahead of them. Don't think there were any undefeated teams ahead of them.

historically, the pac-10 is to womans' volleyball as the SEC is to football. so, maybe that's the reason why some teams with losses are still ranked above an unbeaten MU team. the cool thing is that the girls WILL get their chance to prove themselves in a tournament. unlike football.

Damn I hope Mizzou wins the SEC in something. Go Volleyball team.

And beat Alabama at Alabama, 3-1 today to remain undefeated.

It's such a shame that JF got hurt.
He would be 10-0 and his lady friend would be 29-0. They would be royalty right now.

In addition to the AVCA poll (the equivalent of the AP for football), the NCAA also publishes an RPI ranking each week. Mizzou is #6 in that one as of November 11. LINK
Interesting to note that of the top 10 teams, the SEC has 3 representatives (Florida, Mizzou, Kentucky) and the traditionally strong Pac-12 and Big Ten have 3 and 2, respectively. Those conferences are very deep, though.
Also note that Big Bevo has 1 team in the top 10, which happens to be UT at #1.

Well it certainly would be nice to win the SEC championship, even if it is a non-revenue sport!
From looking at the schedule posted elsewhere it looked like that Bama game might be the toughest one left on the schedule. This team is Really damn good!
