Had lunch at Neal's last week. Owner was wearing an Auburn hat. He was asked where his Hog hat was, his response was that he hoped Auburn beat Arkansas and that Arkansas never wins another game.

I personally witnessed this. I for one am not going back to Neal's. Susan's is better anyway.

We had one service here in Fayetteville today and I had made my mind up they did this to have him speak....I had decided I would walk right out of church and never attend this church again if this were to happen.

Thank The Lord I was wrong...but it was a great service

I don't blame you. I think Malzahn's a good coach but good grief, that guy's way over the top.

The owner was absolutely obnoxious about it too.

Really hate that place now.

We attend Pinnacle, I didn't go. Not going to listen to it. The Shiloh crowd loves their Gus and act like he is a shining and noble beacon of morality on the college landscape, makes me .

Don Neal and Gus have been buddies for along time.
I don't have much use for either one of them. Don's son-in-law is a assistant coach at Shiloh. The whole family loves them some Gus.

FWIW, I prefer the Wagon Wheel cafe for breakfast.

I like Wagon Wheel but never eat their breakfast.

I understand why Don's so disgruntled and angry but I don't care. The manner in which the Shiloh crowd canonizes Malzahn is ridiculous. We attend the Pinnacle campus and I told my wife we'll be looking for a new church home. I'm sick of them and tired of supporting them.

That sucks SLC. I've never really felt that here at our Fayetteville campus. Possibly because there are quite a few players and coaches who go here.

My previous post here was more of a joke than anything. I really didn't expect them to have Gus there.

Why don't you try us out here?

I married into a family who is very close with the Malzahn's. I make no effort to hide my hate for the guy and up until Saturday the wife always got onto me for making statements about him.

Then Swain was shot and she saw the truth.

Long drive from Hiwassee to Fayettenam with a lot of good churches in between. One of my best life-long friends attends there regularly, you probably know him, he'd love for us to move to Fayetteville and attend.

I can't really fault them for sticking with their guy. I don't like it, but he wins.

If someone never attended the University of Arkansas, then they can choose to support whoever they want to.

I find the AU people here annoying. I hate Jimmy Dykes. They can all go frick themselves.

Actually saw some of this from some LSU fans when Saban went to Bama. There were quite a few who became Bama fans because they liked Saban so much.

They are not merely sticking up for their guy, they put him on a moral pedestal and wish harm to the Razorback program because Arkansas didn't hire him. He specifically said he hopes Arkansas does not win another game.

This could be the reason ...or he perhaps resents the fact that a large portion of our fan base directs their venom toward his friend, Gus, for one reason or another. Subsequently, he directs his anger toward the Arkansas program.

Gus has venom directed towards him largely for people like mentioned in the OP.

The same was true about Nutt.

Their actions would have been bearable if you didn't have their supporters placing them on pedestals then thumping chests and trying to rub noses in it.

Gus is a perfect fit for Auburn, their fans are Gus type fans, look back to trying to rub our fan's noses in "stealing" Kheil Frazier and how he was going to be the next Cam...
