The Bulldog is a great dog.
English bulldogs are awful. Awful. My sister has one, sure it is very loving. But it smells horrible, cost her about 5,000 a year in vet bills(not kidding), and it literally can't procreate without human help. Now on the other hand, American Bulldogs are awesome animals. It makes zero sense that bulldog schools done use the American bulldog

Does she beat her dog too? I have one and it has torn both ACL's (very common in Bulldogs) and hasn't cost, in its lifetime, $5000.

I've heard the horror stories, but I've had my English Bulldog for 13 years and outside of allergy shots and now some meds for his joints, he hasn't cost me that much.

You really have to keep their faces clean, that's really the only burden. They're very loyal and great dogs.
