Historically yes I would put Auburn somewhere around 10-15. We are bitter rivals but yes Auburn is a much better job and program that Arkansas or South Carolina could ever hope to be. And personally I've liked Malzahn a long time. The fact that a good deal of his offense actually evolved from Wing T concepts has made me a fan for a long time. Even though his offense is lumped with other "spread offenses" people don't realize how much of it is evolved Wing T and how much of that evolution was actually done by him. He took a central Wing T concept called the Run/Pass Bind and adapted that to his offense. He does run a good deal of Zone Read in his offense but a lot of his run plays are stuff he developed/adapted to their present form himsef. Like his invert veer which makes the teams he coaches the only "spread teams" you see running Load/Power Option. I've been going to Auburn's camps/clinics the past few years while he is there for those reasons.
