I thought both had a chance to make a statement last night and they both lost close games. Just proving how hard it is to go undefeated and why Bama is in a difficult position. If Bama loses, bye-bye Natty.

Do you think TT is similar to Mizzu in that they are not used to going that long w/o a loss. It was almost like a subconscious reset that tells them they shouldn't win the big ones.

Mizzu in particular demonstrated a real change at the end of regulation from their previous defense scheme that allowed SC to screen pass all the way home. The Saints did a similar thing earlier against the Pats.

In the end do you think Zou over performed up until now or do you think they really were good enough to make the SECG?

They still can but TAMU and OM stand on the way. So I say those games will probably answer my question.

The only people that didn't think both of these teams were over rated were the players and fans of these teams.

ETA: Up vote alone just for the cool Avi.

Is TT living on Kingsbury genius or Tubberville players?

Dude the UGA loss was to a different UGA than what currently shows up but you shipped your pants KMart style on UT.

Funny thing is Ears can recruit and he was recruiting players for that system. The AU transition was more difficult dude to Tubby running a traditional O.

Combination of both. They both probably played the best teams they have faced all season last night, but it isn't like they got their doors blown off or anything. I do think if Spurrier had let Shaw play the whole game USCe would have won relatively easily though.

Overrated. Texas Tech has played nobody and Mizzou beat two severely injury laden teams.

Do me a favor go back and look at the history of our team in Neyland Stadium we don't have a great track record in that stadium. We we're better than that loss but It didn't exactly suprise me. Overall that loss was more due to some bad coaching decisions in the last 3min.

We generally fail to show up to one game a year. It is what it is.

And if Franklin could of played, we could of won the game too. That's not using the injury excuse, just pointing out there is two sides to the coin you just flipped.

and if mike davis didn't fumble twice inside the 10 we would have never made it to overtime.

That's on your player, he wasn't injured for the most part. I'm not taking anything away from the Scar win. It's just the injury bug excuse is very selective around here, depending on which team one roots for or want to rag on.

Side Note: Our defense forced those two fumbles, he didn't just give it up.

Can't speak to Texas Tech but Missouri is a pretty solid team. Their defense is good with a DL that gets after the QB and athletic LB's that make sure tackles. Their offense is also pretty solid with an OL that is good a run blocking; they pretty much owned SC last night and had over 150 yards rushing while SC only had about 75. Malk is good backup for Franklin and both can make the required throws. Missouri's main problem last night was obviously pass defense but Shaw came in on fire so shite happens. My prediction is Missouri might lose to A&M but win the rest of their games and go to the SECCG.

True. Uga thinks they copyrighted it. They are the only ones allowed to use it.

Obviously Mizzou didn't drop far. So I doubt if most think they are over rated. Nobody expected them to win every game, they lost to a ranked team in 2 OT by 3pts. Not bad.
