Looking forward to our game this weekend - I expect it to be a good one!
We will still be without our starting QB, but the backup, Maty Mauk did well yesterday against Florida. We hope to get our other key injured player, EJ Gaines, back for this coming weekend.
Any word on Connor Shaw yet?
If anyone plans to make the journey to the conference's other Columbia, let me know and we'll make some suggestions for you.

Don't expect to hear anything official on Shaw until tomorrow or Tuesday
eta- Just read that he didn't tear any ligaments but is doubtful for the Mizzu game

Which, if you're going off his history, means he starts on Saturday and has the game of his life... at least that's how his shoulder injury against UCF worked out.

Just my personal opinion, i would prefer to see dylan get the start regardless of shaws health. I have seen more than enough of road-shaw. Jmo

Congrats on the good season so far Truman.
I seriously doubt Shaw plays Saturday.

Why? Dylan looked like shite against UCF on the road this year and against Vandy on the road last year

What about on the road against the taterheads?

I am a she-tiger. And I've posted pics previously, some of your fans have seen me (CNB, I'm looking at you!). That's enough.

Oh and Mizzou wins 38-20. Could be worse.

You never know. Should be a good game. At this point, though, I want to continue winning just to piss off Jesse Palmer, that self-important jackazz.

I am not gonna try to tear Connor down because he is a good kid, but the ball has to come out. Also i think ucf is a better team than tennessee and dylan did enough for us to win that game. Connor, and the fumbles, might benefit from watching a game. After mizzou, we come back home and Connor can take back over. Every qb has drops. I, just my opinion, think Dylan, with a week preparing as #1 gives us a better shot to win on the road than connor.
Connor was not good saturday, and that is an undeniable trend at this point.

If y'all win, the east is pretty much locked up for y'all. If we win, we still need y'all to lose again, but we also have to win out. The cards are stacked in y'all's favor, after seeing the highlights of what y'all did to UF, I'm impressed. I thought UF was going to eat y'all's lunch.

Welcome Semo!
I will have to admit Mizzou looks mighty impressive, and whether or not we compete with you in your Columbia depends on which team shows up. If the Arky team appears it will be a shootout and if the other team appears it might be pretty ugly for us.
Either way my liver thinks this years team is a a-hole!

How is it an undeniable trend? He played great against Kentucky and Arkansas.
Connor didn't play great but the offensive line didn't provide much protection (Will Sport doesn't need a scholarship) and the wide receivers dropped 3 balls in the first quarter. Plus if you watched the game on TV you can't see if receivers are getting open or not.
And the fumble was on Clayton Stadnick, who played more like I expected he would when he took over for Waldrop.

Thanks! After last year, this just feels like a dream to us. Huge difference between the beat-to-hell team we put on the field last year and this year's squad.
Every week we do a preview/pre-game analysis of the coming game, looking at the strengths and soft spots of each team and how they match up. It should be posted later today on our board, if you're interested in reading it.
BTW, we're also looking forward to seeing y'all in basketball this year - Frank should have your team much improved his 2nd year in.
ETA - Preview is up!
Mizzou - South Carolina preview

The trend i am referring to is road performances against teams with a pulse. He is a bedshitting waiting to happen in those games. I admire his heart but i dont see how anyone can honestly deny this at this point. Lets not pretend that was an alabama-esque d that just befuddled him. Tennessee sucks, and we all know it.
Arkansas is a steaming pile of hot vomit. frick them. I could probably look good against them.

Welcome... This is going to be a weird week for me. Playing Missouri in Columbia on Saturday and my Sox against the Cardinals in the WS. I might have to bypass that state for the foreseeable future if things go south.
