Thought it may be interesting to keep a thread going of new shite that pops up.

Apparently they put a mile long walking trail around Chadwick Lake. Looks nice.

I heard that the Lenny's is closing down.

Which is weird because it was never open.

The back of his head is really flat. I sat behind him once when I was forced to go to mass.

Wasn't Hotel Chester on one of those reality tv makeover things? I am guessing this is part of it.

I stayed there twice...I liked that place.

I heard that it wasn't an actual tv show. Everyone said it was Gordon Ramsey's show, but I think he was just there for some reason. A girl that used to work there was telling me somehting like that but i can't quite remember because i wasn't listening.

I thought it was, but I haven't seen anyone mention it was being aired.

The beer garden looks nice though.

The two new sets of apartments/condos on Russell Street across from Cotton Crossing look good.

Firehouse Subs is somewhat new, too

Brand new apartments across from abners. They finally tore that old house down, but there's one still there.

ETA: The Renesant Bank across from the grill looks pretty nice since they finished.

I guess it's not brand new and doesn't really benefit me, but the old black frat house(I think that's what it was) that burned down and was re-built looks nice. The replacement looks really cool right there on university across from the cemetery. Since they finished that new bank across from the grill, that intersection looks about 100 times better than it did about three years ago. Is there anything cool to do at that buidling besides the grill? I know there's a bike shop in there. Can't remember what else. I used to hit up happy hour at the old grill, but I have actually never gone to the new building because people seem do dog the grill a good bit.

From what I've been told those are new apartments and they are expensive as frick.

Above that bike shop are "lofts" that are going for 250k a piece. That is pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

As far as the grill, it is very hit or miss for me. I'll go there one night and get great service and the menu is pretty much the same as Harvey's with a few extras. The next time I'll go will be the shittiest waitress ever and I'll vow to never go again.

The Rubba Boot

Friend of mine opened a seasonal cajun joint off of Hwy 12. His wife's family are 6th gen crawfish farmers and their product comes straight to Starkville.

We've weighed 0.28 lb crawfish up there before..
