i just dont like boehner because he is a weak cry baby. i agree though you can't fight everything and i think that is part of the republican party. They fight every single issue with the same type of anger level.

Boehner is just like every other politician. He's more interested in protecting his seat than doing what he thinks is best. The Tea Party representatives ran on opposing anything and everything Obama supported, and that's what they have done since being elected. Anytime Boehner has attempted to challenge them, they threaten him and any other Republican they'll smear his/her in his/her district during the primaries. It's a real threat because of all the money flowing into the Tea Party. That money is pretty much how Cruz won his runoff election. I forget the specifics, but the runoff vote was delayed for some reason, and during the delay the Tea Party funneled a bunch of money into his campaign.

They fight like they do because that is the Tea Party's level of anger on everything. In their position, you must pick your battles wisely. I think the problem is they are so angry at Obama and the libs, they just want to throw punches. It's not a productive method of getting anything done.

They need a dose of practicality in the worst way.
