Didn't get to go to the game, but am flying back from a client conference in Memphis & got routed to a layover in Atlanta so had to rock the Mizzou apparel. Figured with the passion down here I wouldn't have to walk far before getting noticed, & sure didnt.

Person walking behind me who hasn't seen me yet: "Well we lost to Missouri and...". I turn and smile. Person: "There he is! Savor the win..."

Mileage card counter guy: "Mr. Tiger! You got your miles yet? Good win this weekend man."

Random Georgia Tech dude: "Hey! Way to go Missouri!!"

Fun stuff. Now if only I could bump into a 5 star recruit or two..

Yeah it was everything thought would be. Mr. Adams runs a very tight ship but if you are respectful and say sir and don't spill beer or act like a maniac you are fine. He mentioned that the LSU Beckham - Odell Beckham isn't it? - was gonna be staying at that house again this weekend when LSU plays at Ole Miss, one of many visits. I guess since this guy is a Tenn booster not LSU one it's sort of within the rules...Anyway the set up is amazing and catering is off the chain. Plenty of Georgia, Tennessee, Arky, Memphis etc fans were there and some former Memphis players. He has wall after wall of pics of him with SEC athletes over the last several decades. Mizzou winning the way it did made it surreal, Roy gave a "welcome to the SEC" stamp of approval as we left. Oh and some local TV news station was there filming a story on Roy & took footage of me and my buddy watching Mizzou in his massive recliners, I may have been on Memphis local news I don't even know lol. Other than that just another weekend.

For the record too we are by no means baller. My friend from CoMo now lives in Memphis & tagged along to one of those parties one time & was a knowledgeable and hardcore enough football fan that Roy wanted to invite him back, apparently that's all it takes.

Yeah I had a connection flight in Atlanta on Sunday and I had my mizzou shirt on the flight attendant stopped me as I was boarding and asked me if that shirt was the Missouri tigers and after I said yes she was saying how proud she was of mizzou and how she is rooting for us to win the sec east until we play her tide haaa.......I thought that was pretty cool.
