Do I think Bama cheats? Probably at some level. But I don't feel it's anymore than any other program.

The only difference is other programs are investigated and punished if evidence is found that they have broken rules. The NCAA lets bammer tell them what to do. They do a quick investigation themselves and say nothing happened, and the NCAA turns its back. Why is this?

College football is just a game - or it used to be. Fans love their schools, but they want everyone in an organization to be treated equally. Now it's become corrupt and driven by money. The media is just as drawn into the corruption as the ones who want control.

I can tell you if AU or almost any other program had these accusations and proof of wrongdoing, the NCAA would die trying to find violations.

AU fans don't hate bammer because they beat us - they actually haven't consistently on a level playing field throughout history. LSU and GA beat us just as much or more as we beat them. We hate bammer because we are not allowed to be free to play the game without constant rumors and allegations coming our way or some effort to bring down our program from the biased and toothless state media who openly worship one program and only tolerate the other. That kind of stuff breeds hatred, not what happens in a sports game.

"The only difference is other programs are investigated and punished when wrongdoing is found"

Please tell me you're joking and this is just a clever troll because the EXACT OPPOSITE is true of what you suggested. It is Auburn who has been investigated and has had multiple very public allegations made against them with no penalties to show for it. Alabama, on the other hand, has gotten "probation" TWICE for frickin textbooks (which Nebraska got no penalties for btw despite an identical case) and turning in a basketball coach preventing a major violation before it happened. I've never seen another major BCS school get major probation for such minor offenses. That doesn't even count the Langham and Means cases where harsh penalties were more understandable. Yet you have the nerve to actually suggest that Alabama gets away with everything despite all that. It isn't Alabama fans that pretend to be lily white. Auburn fans more than any other fanbase have this delusional romantic idea about how virtuous and pristine their programs while casting stones at not only Alabama but other programs. Many of you honestly think Auburn has never done anything wrong and that your SEC record 7 probation cases were all fabricated by the REC. You have only had 1 major infractions case in basketball the last 20 years despite numerous allegations made by your own players and even a former coach which you skate by with nothing and Alabama has had multiple cases the last 20 years and WE are the ones Tue NCAA is letting skate by?

You realize that Bama just came off probation don't you? and for something so minor that other schools that had something similar received FAR less punishment.

YOU HAD A PLAYER'S PARENT ACT AS HIS AGENT AND SOLICIT PAYMENTS AND NOTHING HAPPENED FOR frickS SAKE. You have had what? 6 players in the last couple of years come out and say they were paid? What has happened to Auburn?
