This is the type run that makes Murray the best QB in UGA history. He put the team on his back and made a big play when they needed it the most. The kid has become a "Gamer" and is clutch during his senior year!!!!

After the crapshow we put on prior to that play, I was watching in disbelief as he took off running. I just couldn't believe that he was doing what he was doing.

Normally he scrambles out of the pocket and picks up 3-7 yards before sliding, but he just kept going. My heart grew 3 sizes like the Grinch after that play.

Regardless of what happens this season, Murray will always be one of my favorite Dawgs.

I think this is an accurate statement now. He is the best. Regardless of championships. He's at least been to the SEC champ game twice. And if all these injuries don't bite us, it looks like we may get back there. If so, I expect a different result this time around. At this point, I don't think you could make a case that any other of our QB's was better than him.

Mark Richt Era QB's ranked:

Murray
Greene
Shock
Stafford

Man, we've had some good ones haven't we?

everyone else.

Really the only reason I give the nod to Greene over Shockley is because of career numbers. Wish like hell they didn't have just 1 year between them. Maybe it'll work out as well for Hutson

Statistically he will be our best QB but beyond that he is just a fine young man.

I would love to see him win a SECC for us but I'm afraid our best shot was last season; just don't see it happening with our current defense and this long list of devastating injuries on offense.

Got a feeling we will get to see him use his legs a little more this season.
