Florida's time of possession in it's first 5 games.
quote:

Toledo 39:48
Miami 38:20
Tenn 39:37
Kentucky 38:09
Arky 32:22

Only looking at the first 4 games, they average a 38:58 TOP

Thats a lot of 3 and outs! It's also a lot of long slow drives up the field that don't end in a lot of points.

Ranked 93rd in points for(25) per game.
Ranked 4th in points against(12.2) per game.

Should be a crazy game this weekend. Which will give up more ground, bad defense vs. bad offense, or great defense vs. great offense?

Nope. It doesn't equate to points. I'm not kidding when I say we probably are missing 6 points a game because of our kicker. It's quite frustrating.

We better offer the best kicker in the country to come play for UF. He'll play right away.

I like that kind of football, but you can't have a lot of turnovers or pass up FG opportunities playing that style. Got UF beat against an inferior Miami team.

If they had a offense that would be a top 3 team along with Oreg and Bama

Florida crazy stat

The State of FL went 7-0 last Saturday. All 7 FBS teams won.

First time ever.

The reason Florida is more dangerous with Murphy is that Murphy FINISHES drives. UF is 100% in the red zone with Murphy as QB. 10-10, 7 TD, 3 FG

UF is also converting over 50% on their 3rd downs.

The combo = Florida not giving their opponents a lot of opportunities (against a tough D), and tiring teams out in the 2nd half.

That is actually quite impressive. We will need to establish the running game to prevent this from happening.

UF is second in the SEC in total TOP...remember they have played one less game than 4 oppoenets yet have had the ball longer than 3 of them.
