Clearly OM has the talent to do some damage on the field. They also have some coaching and both coaches and players seem to want to win. They also are stepping up to do what they need to do to get talent in the program.
It is starting to look like they don't have any kind of winning tradition to pull it off. Without some growing pains to develop a culture of class and character, they still have some losing to do.

I wonder if Ole Miss will reach the coveted third place west finish before Auburn or Arkansas. A strong Ole Miss is good for everyone so I hope they keep up the recruiting success and develop a stronger team.

Freeze just isn't the gameday coach OM needs
he's going to be like Sherman was at TAMU. recruiting good talent but won't have what it takes to pull it off on gameday. see last year's 4th & 1 call vs. A&M.

The call to go for it was the right one, it was just a matter of whether it was the right play to call. That same play had been getting us yards all night.
A QB sneak would have probably been safer, but still no guarantee.
He's a gambler.
But also, people are forgetting that he's still learning. We took a gamble on a young, unproven coach. This is only his 3rd year as a D1 HC. He's learning as he goes.
I'd say his potential and his dedication to the University make him a worthy gamble.
