That's the rankings of the defenses LSU has faced, with three games coming at home. LSU is averaging 42 pts per game.
Miss State's defensive rank: 16
State has played one ranked team, as has LSU. Miss State has a common opponent (Auburn) and had VERY similar offensive and defensive stats on the road against Auburn as LSU had at home against Auburn.
Yet LSU folks think they're going to score 40+ on the road. That's why my bookie neighbor says that LSU fan's money is the easiest in the world to win. They simply aren't realistic.
Mississippi State will win by 10: 31 - 21.
