He was a backup Quarterback at Tennessee. He may not be as sharp as some of the guys on here but I'm sure he knows a little bit about the X and O part of the game. He may not be coming off that great in front of the camera but once he becomes comfortable with the role, I think you will see that he is a lot more intelligent than he is being portrayed here. It's just ridiculous to say he has a picture of somebody with a goat or whatever form of dirt we are thinking.

Are you saying that he is worse than that dunderhead, Lee Corso. That guy is a cartoon character, not a commentator. Or are you saying he is worse than 'Uncle Mumbles' better known as Lou Holtz. He even makes the hillbillies of West Virginia look bad and frankly, I can't understand half of what he says because he walks on his own words. Buh, buh, buh.

Finebaum started his career doing some investigative journalism for the Birmingham News. People (anonymous sources) do tell him a lot of rumors and gossip. I think he is on ESPN because of all of his Jewish friends like Luginbill and some of the others have helped him. There is nothing wrong with people of the same faith helping each other out. I have seen it at my company, Mormons are helping other Mormons get promoted. This is just my theory because there is nothing special about him. He really cannot talk about football on a deep level of understanding. He is the Howard Stern-Jerry Springer of College Football.
