If you want the students to show up, quit scheduling games like Georgia State.

The tailgating has become so good on most SEC campuses that if it's a non conference game then, "it's mostly about the partying" since it's a for sure win.

For me, I look at it like a non conference game just means cheaper tickets. I could see how if I was on campus everyday how a non conference game would maybe be a game to skip and party at the Houndstooth, Innisbrook, or the friends house though.

But don't you want to get your walk-ons some playing time? Since it's a non-conference home game & they'll all get to dress, the Alabama scout team against the GSU first team would still be a -28 point spread.
