You had me right up until the end. Don't ever try to tell someone from way down South that your BBQ is better and you will tell us how to do it.
I don't ever remember seeing where Missouri has ever won any national awards for BBQ.

OK, there I must disagree. The Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) is the largest sanctioning body for BBQ contests in the world. They sanction hundreds of competitions every year. They train and provide certified judges for competitions, and they're involved with the World Series of BBQ, formerly the American Royal. Missouri is known for BBQ. That said, I just like good BBQ. KC, Memphis, the Carolinas, wherever I can find it.

Uh KC BBQ is a thing and nationally revered. Can't say as much for Alabama. And before you even say it, I've been to dreamland and it's garbage.
