UCF has sold-out (Bright House Networks Stadium’s 45,323 capacity) ... there is a ton of buzz coming out of Orlando. This is being labeled as the biggest game in program history down there.

UCF's top offensive lineman Torian Wilson, their LT, returns to action for this game to face Clowney. LINK So will their top LB, Willie Wilson.

This is the first time in the history of the UCF program that they are going to appear on network television at home ... ABC, 12:00 noon telecast.

At 3-0, the Knights are off to their best start since 1988 when they opened at 5-0, and are coming off their first win over a Big Ten program when they toppled Penn State Sept. 14. They have scored at least 30 points in their first three games of a season for the first time since the program’s inception in 1979.

UCF last faced a ranked team at home in 2009 when they upset similarly ranked (13/12) Houston.

South Carolina is 3-0 vs UCF.

9/1/2005 vs. Central Florida (8-5) W 24-15
9/6/1997 vs. Central Florida (5-6) W 33-31
9/7/1996 vs. Central Florida (5-6) W 33-14

The 2005 contest at South Carolina was a national telecast as they opened 2005 on a Thursday on ESPN. This will be the Gamecocks' first trip to Orlando to face UCF.

There will be plenty to read out of Orlando this week, but it began here: LINK

I'm pretty nervous about this game.

You're totally justified. This UCF team is legit. Their offense is really good, we're at their stadium, and they are building this to be the biggest game in their program history. Our guys have to prepare for this really well, or they could get punched in the mouth.

Their RB, Storm Johnson, was a Top 10 RB out of HS, signed with Miami, but whatever happend and he's at UCF now. They have 3 OL starters returning from last year, 2 of them were All Conference. They have a QB who is big and can run, who also had over 3K passing yards last season. They spread the ball around to their WR's, and a lot of them are avg'ing over 10 yards a catch. This UCF team can play ball.

I understand why you are but I, personally, am not too worried.

We're a big time fully loaded program. UCF is not.

We're deeper, more talented, better prepared and far more combat hardened from playing in the SEC.

Penn State is not a very good football team.

If we go down there, smack them in the chops early and back into reality, we should be able to take charge of this game in the first half.

Also, do not be surprised if we have a ton of fans there. We've got quite a few alumni living in Central Florida within driving distance of Orlando. Others will travel there just to make a long vacation weekend out of the trip. I fully expect us to be well represented at this game. The reason it sold out is because our fans bought up all available tickets.

If we hadn't failed to cover the spread against Vandy after going up 28-0 I could get behind this.

Unfortunately I have a sneaky suspicion that we fiddle around down there and lose

I'm not at all worried about this game. Our offense has been pretty solid the previous weeks and with Cooper back at lb we should see a more physical defense.

I think the bye week came at the perfect time, and we go down there, play well, and win 38-17 or something along those lines. I know some of y'all are worried, but if we have truly professed over the last few years, this is a game we should expect to dominate.

Wanna bet? Your sneaky suspicion verses my knowledge of the game of college football.
