I've seen plenty an underdog get their doors blown off in inclement weather.
It's a case-by-case basis. I don't think there's some inherent advantage afforded to the lesser talented team. They're affected by the weather too.
LSU is well equipped to win this type of game due to their depth at RB. They'll roll 3 or 4 guys out there that will give Auburn fits.
