MONEY

LSU endowment approximately $600 million. TAMU endowment is $6.9 BILLION. (that is indeed a "B").

ACADEMICS

LSU average SAT is 1135. TAMU average SAT is 1195. (TAMU would be much higher without statutory requirement to enroll any student in top 10% of high school class.)

LSU graduation rate is 67%. TAMU graduation rate of 80%.

SPORTS

TAMU is 5th in nation in Director's Cup award for athletic performance across ALL sports. LSU did not even rank. Other SEC schools in top ten were Florida (2) and Georgia (10).

ENROLLMENT

TAMU is 52,585 (largest in SEC). LSU is 29,549. I think we have at least four larger universities in Texas alone. t.u. (51,140), tech (32,611), Texas State (formerly Southwest Texas, 34,529), utep (30,474). By comparison, LSU is rather like attending a community college.

Need I continue?

If I'm not mistaken LSU and Arkansas have the most national titles in ALL sports in the SEC.
