Currently LSU has played 3 teams with a combined record of 2 and 7 with the 2 victories being against SE Louisiana and Liberty.

On the other hand Alabama's opponents are a combined 4 and 2 with both losses being to Alabama and Texas AM's opponents are 5 and 2 with both losses being to AM.

Your mean, VaTech, Rice, and Sam Houston St?

You really want to give TxAM that much credit for wins over Rice and Sam Houston St? Sure, it is your post count, why not.

I am not saying that LSU does not have a very good team. Just curious what you have seen from LSU to think that they will be able to beat Al, AM, FL and GA.

I see people bitch about LSU schedule AFTER the fact, but at least LSU will play ALL four of those teams, of which one is a permanent opponent and the other is a SEC front office "write-in" this season.

So, what makes us think we can win the big four?

Because last year, we played three of those teams down to the wire with a really crappy offense, very nearly sweeping them. Even in our non-conference games, our offense struggle...really struggle.

Today, we are scoring points like never before. Our offense appears to actually "work" vs. last year. And as the Bama-TxAM game showed, your defense does not have to be world class this year to win.

Last year at this very same stage in your schedule you had these games:

North Texas 41-14
Washington 41-3
Idaho 63-14

I'm sorry, but I am not seeing much of a difference yet. It may be there, but do you honestly see a difference in your scoring this year from last?
