Real answer: Its loud, its not going to impress though. On the field is louder than the stands. With the redesign though, it will be the loudest in CFB.

The OP asked if opposing fans who have attended at game at A&M thought it was loud. I understand why A&M are taking this personal. They have some great unique traditions and work hard to support their team. However passion for their team does not equate to loudness in the stadium and I don’t believe changes to their stadium will change this.

I have been to games at A&M and games siting in the A&M fans section in the superdome. Their fans are nice and friendly but not loud. Each time I was able to hold normal conversations and could easily hear what others were saying around me. It’s not hard to make it loud in the superdome and I just didn’t hear it from them. I have been in similar situations with other fan basses and many were louder.

While A&Ms organized cheers are unique I think they stifle the passion and energy A&M fans have for their team. The noise from other stadiums and fan basses is louder and more intense. Their passion flows freely, unchecked and is raw emotion.

Uncontrolled energy is dangerous loud and explosive….

Controlled energy is slowly released and harnessed while its full potential is always in check….

Most fans bases intensity and cheering is uncontrolled energy and it is just more intense. A&M is controlled predictable energy that usually remains in check. Hey there a great engineering school and it shows in their systematic management of this energy.
