Williams and Collins both put up 130+. Either of them would have been #2 or maybe even #1 if they didn't have the other taking carries from them.

Not sure either could have overtaken Gurley, but they both put up impressive numbers out of the same backfield. Several other guys on the list shared carries as well, including Gurley. In fact, Arkansas running backs had the most carries of any on the list. It will be interesting to see what happens as the level of competition increases.

#2 max. Gurley was definitely the most impressive. Collins probably only took a couple of carries from Williams. Considering we ran the ball 51 times they were both probably close to their max. Especially in that heat we had yesterday.

Honestly, I was surprised they had that many carries each. I would have thought that they would have given some more to Holmes or Walker at the end when we were running out the clock.
