Jon Halapio, I don't get the love

He's touted as such a strength on the line, but in the past years he's not shown any reason to back this up. What does everyone see that I'm missing?

Harrison is the best offensive lineman we have. Halapio is inconsistent but I think the coaches and other lineman see him as the leader. Which is important.

Dude is always injured. Sucks, but it is what it is.

Maybe you're thinking of patchan there. Halapio started like 23 straight.

Halapio is one of the best Run Blockers on the team, he had started 25 straight games, and was generally thought of as a team leader.
Losing him hurts. His Pass protection wasn't so great lsat year, but that wasn't all on him.

What he didn't do was pick up stunt blitz's well. Hopefully another offseason with Tim Davis will fix up our recognition on the line. He has good footwork and hands. It's the recognition he struggled with.
