This is what people don't seem to comprehend. The initial cost of an aircraft big enough to transport an entire team would be expensive as hell but this cost is nothing compared to keeping it airworthy. You could buy a 20 year old 737 for a "bargain" but would spend at least what you paid for it YEARLY to keep it flying. I love flight and have always been fascinated by aircraft, but they are the biggest waste of resources and money to personally own.

This. Maintaining a 737 would cost 100k+ yearly, plus operating costs of 4-5k an hour, plus storage, plus pilots. It'd get ridiculous. Corporate jet aside, getting into the commercial airline business would be asinine to say the least.
