Backfield - Jones had the virus issue(seems like mono). He is recovering and gaining weight back.
Kelvin Taylor - We saw the impact of five star freshman last year with Gurley, Marshall, and Yeldon. I have zero doubt he can have the same level of production.
Mack Brown - Like the coach, never gotten it together but not terrible either.
FB - Joyer is god.
WR - Quintin Dunbar - He is a solid all around player. Not really what you want as a number 1 guy though but should be a lot more productive this year. Blocks well downfield too.
WR 2- Demarcus Robinson - ONe handed catches, insane diving catches, speed and hands. He is going to be a stud. Freshman has locked down the 2nd WR position. He's actually gone beast on ALL SEC corners all through practice. If he can do that on Roberson, watch out SEC.
Slot WR - Trey Burton - Not really fast, but a smart player who's very versatile. I like him being on the field as much as possible.
Back up WR - Latroy Pittman - Struggled some in camp and lost the number 2 to Robinson. Still, coaches really like him and I'll take faith in the coaching staff.
I think we see improvement in the passing game for sure with more weapons than we've had since 09. As long as Driskel progresses routes better and line keeps him upright, we should be better than last year for sure. Probably finish around 80-90 still in pass offense, but we don't need huge passing yards to win.
