Texas A&M

QB - I believe you all know Mr. Manziel. The question mark is his number 2. We've got Matt Joeckel (JR, Luke Joeckels twin) who is a moderately talented pocket passer, Matt Davis: pretty big dual threat guy who red shirted last year, didnt look hot in the spring game but he is still a playmaker, and Kenny Hill: true freshman, another dual threat playmaker who I actually believe will win the backup role despite only going through fall camp. Hill ran a very similar offense in HS and our coaches say he knows how to operate the no-huddle without shouting or giving anything away to the defense.

RB - Returning starter Ben Malena is currently penciled in at no. 1 but I don't expect that to mean much. Ben is one of the hardest working guys on the team and a big leader but "behind him" are two 5* studs. Trey Williams is extremely talented and played really well last year as a frosh but i think the real story is Brandon Williams. He is a transfer from OU so he sat out all last year but everything points to him being our guy. We also have an Oregon transfer Tra Carson, who will be the short yards guy, a big bruiser at ~230 lbs.

TE - Returner Nehamiah Hicks has never been a star but coaches are excited about his progression, especially as a blocker. Next is Cameron Clear a Juco player whos been on campus since spring, he's 6'6 and ~270 lbs and just looks like the single biggest man I've ever seen. Very skilled blocker and we plan on using this guy a lot to create mismatches with our other skyscraping recievers.

WR - Interesting position with tons of talent but very young, look out for our WRs in the next years as they progress. Mike Evans (6'5) will be our obvious #1, Kalcome Kennedy is almost guarenteed to start too. Behind them the competition gets interesting. 5* frosh Ricky Seals-Jones will almost certainly play a ton at 6'5 240 lbs with freakish size-defying athletical abilities. Ja'Quay Williams (6'4) arrived last spring and looks promising. Sebastian Larue and Laquiviante Gonzalez are both speed demons who will get playing time but also work on special times as returners. Derel Walker and Sabian holmes looked very improved in spring ball. RS(FR) Edward Pope (6'4) Co-offensive MVP of scout team last year, played very well in spring as well.

SUMMARY:
QB: Hesiman winner up front, but need a solid backup.
RBs: deep and talented stable, expect A LOT of rotation between Malena and both the Williams.
TE/WR: Only two good vets and lots of top young talent. VERY TALL. We could potentially play 3 guys at once who are all 6'5.
