You do know how bulldogs came by their name don't you? Probably not based on your stupid post.

The name was derived from the "sport" of bull baiting. The original bulldog breed was similar to what is now called an American Bulldog but after bull baiting was made illegal, the need for such a dog wained and the breed was bastardized into several different breeds including the English Bulldog.

Fortunately, the true bulldog breed was rescued by a man named Johnson, who I believed lived in Georgia, and became known a American Bulldogs. I never understood why Georgia doesn't use an American Bulldog for its mascot but that's a discussion for a different time.

Using your stupid logic, should Georgia change mascots? After all, bull baiting is as cruel as it gets.

They already did that man. They wanted to seem tougher so they changed to bulldogs from goats. Seriously.
