Attention Arkansas Posters on the Mizzou Board

OK, guys, CHILL!!!

I'm working on this. I can't imagine that the Arky posters we've granted access to would object to adding some Mizzou posters to their board in return. They're not the ones at issue here. Killz, your previous activities as it relates to the Arky fanbase may case too many rustled jimmies still, I don't know. But give us a bit of time to work on this, OK?

The Arky board isn't locked down, it's just been slowed dramatically because not everyone is in agreement. Please just be patient.

I'm still upset with you for pretty much abandoning the Cardinals threads, you were there for about the first month of the season and pretty much faded out to very few rare appearances here and there.

I hung out in those threads for a while, but it seemed like they just got dead! And now I forget to check them since I'm trying to keep things under control around here.

It was an awesome win tonight!! Alan Craig and John Jay were clutch! I can only hope they have a good week - I'm going to see my mom this weekend, and she gets pissy when they don't play well.

Guys, here's the deal. They are working on giving team board admins access to grant or remove access to our boards to individual posters. But right now that still goes through Chicken. Once the team board admins have that ability, it'll be much easier - that way, we can grant access, and quickly remove it if anyone abuses the privilege.

Until then, we're being cautious. I'm in favor of allowing The Other White Meat to post - he actually should have already had the privilege, it was my oversight - and I've approached the Arky admins about reciprocation.

If you would like Arky board access at this time, please say so in this thread. And let's limit it to this thread, please. Keep in mind that posting on another team's board is a privilege, and if you are granted that privilege you will be ambassadors for all Mizzou posters. If you are granted access, please do not troll there. If anyone trolls on that board, they'll be booted with the quickness and it'll be that much harder for others to gain access. Thanks.

Semo, I slept on it and while it's frustrating that Arky chooses to lock it down pretty tight, TheOtherWhiteMeat had my support before and I'll still give it to him. Whatever happens on the Arky board happens. TheOtherWhiteMeat did go to bat pretty strong for us last night, so he has my support right now.

White Meat is okay in my book, but he should be added to this board on condition: The condition being that he openly and activitely promote Mizzou access on the Arkansas Board. If he refuses, his privileges should be revoked by matter of principle.

Because what you're saying is that there's no way people like Killz and any other Mizzou fan (UR Hatin and SEMO excluded) is getting access to the Arkansas Board because your board is so exclusive and troll free...yet you had no problem approving access to HG and Hugo (pre-banishment), both of which have flamed and trolled Arkansas on the rant.

I didn't need to finish your quote because I'm dead on. Curious, why hasn't Cheese Grits been approved access to your board when he had overwhelming support from Arkansas posters? And if I'm such a bad poster and anti-Arkansas, why did half of your posters vote for me? Let's be honest, I'd have received majority vote had Porker and one other poster not threatened to quit your board if I was granted access. That little dramatic ploy by two well known Arkansas trolls worked to reverse a few of my Yes votes.

Therefore, trolls swayed the vote.

Think about some of your Arkansas posters who would like access to other boards. Why would other boards accept Arkansas posters if they know that the Arkansas Board is locked down?

It seems like the Arkansas Board, while claiming to be anti-troll, is most certainly pro-troll. A wolf in sheep skin.

It's cool DC. I also understand how the Arky board wouldn't want to grant access to outsiders at the expense of losing current Arky posters. I think we're at that crossroads on our board as well. I still support TheOtherWhiteMeat because he made his request before the Killz Proclamation and he had my support then and he has gone to bat pretty hard for us at the risk of alienating some of the other Arky fanbase. I would vote to let Meat in and then hold off on any other Arky requests until some equity is shown.
