Na'ty Rodgers
DJ Park
Bryce King
Alan Knott
JP Vonashek

Potential to be the best ever signed in one class?

Do any of them contribute this year or do we try to redshirt all of them?

unless injury we should redshirt them but if any of them played I would bet on Rodgers and Park

4 of the 5 were rated 4* by at least one of the 4 online sources....King was a 4* per 24/7Sports but was dropped to a high 3* late in his process. Recruiting rating-wise, it's the highest-regarded OL class I can recall we've ever brought in. Certainly the highest under Spurrier, which is impressive considering the 2006 OL class, but that one was a HUGE class of 7 or 8 OL that had several 4*s, but also several 3*s too...

Parks should be the most ready: he's a monster at 6-4, 330+ and has an edge over the others in terms of development due to him being an EE and participating in our spring camp. Rodgers was slightly higher rated than Parks by most sources, and he's got the SEC body already at 6-5, 296. Both Knott and Vonashek were 4* OL per ESPN and had a few impressive articles written about them in the off-season in their home state of GA: both were leaders at winning programs at Sandy Creek and Camden County (Knott's team went 15-0 and won AAAA State), and both play with an attitude.

It would be great if all 5 could redshirt: we currently have a full 2-deep without needing a true freshman to participate, and do so for the 2nd season in a row. Losing Matulis hurts because he has great experience, but if we can avoid major injuries this season, we only have one senior and should only lose him, possibly Cann may go as well. So our interior could lose it's starters, but we'll have both Parks, B. Stadnick, and Sport ready to step up...

The potential is there for them to be the best, but it's also there for them to be the most overrated. They have to prove it to earn it.

I think they all redshirt, except for King maybe. If C Stadnik doesn't improve his snapping he could lose more than his 2nd string spot on the depth chart. It all works out though.

Can't really grade a O-Line until much later than a week into fall practice of their Freshman year. If we're four years down the line and the majority of the five contribute then that would be the time.

All good stuff men.

The thing about this class ... 4 tackles, 1 center, no guards.

Wonder who they plan on converting to guards?

Pretty sure DJ Park is already working at RG

Really? I would have thought it would have been Bryce King given the transition from center to guard is pretty common when making the jump from HS to college.

Given Park's size, what, 6-6 340, that's gonna make for a massive, huge, guard. They must be getting him ready for Connor Mitch.

We're in high cotton when we start having 6-6 340 guards.

I thinik Park and Knott will be at OG. King will stay at C, especially if C Stadnik keeps underperforming. On the post practice videos I've seen Elliot and Spurrier call C Stadnik out.

Based on what Elliott told us 2day, current O-Line depth chart: LT Robinson (Zandi), LG Cann (Stadnik), C - Waldrop (Stadnik). . .

RG - Patrick (Sport), RT - Shell (Vonashek). Gibson expected back within a week. Matulis could return to practice by end of month.

So this sounds like Gibson will move in ahead of Vonashek on the 2-deep behind Shell when he returns...

Also, they moved Knott to backup Center when C. Stadnik was out with the concussion. That's interesting, I thought King was going to back up Waldrop.
