That is the first step. Winning 9 or 10 in a single year means some of those games were underdog wins. Once you are winning 9 or 10 for 2 or 3 years in a row the underdog role goes away and you become the team with a target on your back. The other position is if you have a team winning 10 games a season the probability of winning 11 or 12 goes up rapidly because whatever you are doing is sustaining wins at that level.
