Kinda bummed they decided to do this especially since all they needed to do was increase security while the players headed in.

As long as they open the scrimmages I won't mind. But if they keep the scrimmages closed ill be very disappointed.

I read where the security was doing a good job especially yesterdays' practice, but that some people asking for autographs were pretty upset. IMO, it's good thing overall: I usually like fall camp, because it gives some good FB info without the FB season actually starting. For me it always seems that once the season starts, it goes by SO fast, and I hate that, so any way to stretch it out a little is a positive for me.

So not having as much reports or updates to follow this month as usual sucks, but if it helps to keep unnecessary issues with fans under control, then fine by me, because the season is most important of all...

Clowney's media storm is going to be large enough without idiots posting every little thing he does at practice as a portent of his godhood.

I think it's a good thing. Will miss Spurt's reports on CT, though. Those were fun to read.

Is CT a preferred board these days?

Depends.. it's a little to bipolar for me for the most part. It's either unrealistic optimism or defeated pessimism at all times. Very little rationality outside of a few posters.

I like the recruiting section, if you take most of it with a grain of salt.

It's a good one for free info. Like Loather said, the recruiting section is pretty accurate and C2 does a good job of keeping it updated and for the most part troll free.

Smack talk is meh, b/c there's nothing more than a couple other fans there, but it's the offseason so that might change in a month.

Thanks guys. My time has been so limited lately - this board is about all I can afford to do. But I'll check that place out from time to time - without registering. Seems like there is some info there.
