The shame of it is he shut down recruiting for a year as an LSU recruit, then told he has to pay his own way.
The better programs are all just about full now.
If you don't think this is bad publicity for LSU among Texas recruits, you must be smoking crack.

I'm not sure he was told he'd have to pay his own way. The kid still has plenty of offers, including TTech, OU, OSU, and Houston. I think LSU found a place for him, but something definitely went wrong along the way.
Is it good pub? no. But he is a great kid and will land on his feet.
