Georgia actually got their azz kicked and were fortunate to be close, 350 yards rushing to 100 pretty much says it all.
If not for the bogus tipped ball call on the interference ( 10-14 point swing ) we blow this game out.When UGA got the ball for the final drive Bama had 512 yards, UGA 305.In my opinion the Bama interception should had stood, no concrete evidence showed the ball hitting the ground.The celebration , followed by the overturned call , had to have an impact on the defense.
As for what you perceived as a wide open WR on the interception, the free saftey saw the ball was short and WENT TO THE BALL, or took a different route , thus the receiver was only wide open because the ball wad not headed his way.
A team that can't stop the run is not a great team.
