EXACTLY! Alabama would have had time to get fresh people out on the field and adjust their personnel. And nobody does that better than Alabama. I think Alabama would have stopped us either way...but we will never know.
But nobody can just assume if we had spiked the ball we would have scored. Saying stuff like that is infantile. It was a great game and Alabama won. Period.
