... why we lost Stroman as a 2015 BB commit? He's also fallen like 7 ranking points as well.

I heard something about his backing off and looking around, but then saw further reports that he or someone in his camp re-affirmed 100% commitment. Rivals still shows him as a commit...
There were some posts on Cockytalk that during his participation in the Heathwood Hall Pro-Am tournament that had a ton of former, current, and future USC players in it, that his eyes were opened by the play of transfer PG Tyrone Johnson and '13 newcomer PG Jaylen Shaw....both those guys got solid reviews by Rivals and others leading their respective teams in the tourney, and Stroman started having doubts about the competition at PG at USC. I have no idea if this is true at all, though....

I hope that's not the case. I would want players to see those caliber players and try to step up their game to outshine them. Still a ways to go though.

Yep, Johnson at least will be a senior Stroman's freshman year, so he won't be much of an obstacle unless Stroman is looking to play 1 or 2 years then move on to the pros. But that's not the proper approach to take to it anyways, unless you're some physical freak of nature out of HS....

Stroman: "I'm still a Gamecock." Still committed. To back up previous Tweet.

That's good news, I think? I'm not one to hold commitments from 15-18 years old guys in too high of regards, no matter who they are. I was that age once, and I remember flipping b/w what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go all the time. I'm no longer following the Allman Brothers around on tour, and when I was 17, It thought I was going to do that every summer.

Well, that's something at least.
