Conway explained it well IMHO.
The only thing I might add is that Shaw is, for this year at least, the team leader who has gained a lot of respect from his teammates because of his savvy play and his toughness.
He reminds me a great deal of Jeff Grantz, expect perhaps with a better arm, a bit faster and far more focused on the game. And Jeff was 2nd Team All-American.
Shaw is a coaches son, Thompson is a preacher's son ... I think.
Shaw is special.
Thompson has a Danny Wuerful type connection with Spurrier. They share scriptures and read the bible to one another.
