My point is: I saw where bama got a higher ranking in one survey because they had a 40% acceptance rate. I have spoken to HS Councilors that say that the majority of Alabama HS Students will apply to bama, even if they do not have the score. Those same students know not to apply to AU because they know they will not get in.

Well that's just bullshite. People only apply to one or the other because they don't want to go to the rival school. Auburn has plenty of terrible students apply there- don't fool yourself
