If anything, it looks like he just regurgitates whatever the recruits tell him...which is exactly what he should be doing. I didn't rage against Davenport, just passed along that I used to follow his updates until I made that realization.

I wouldn't read Otis if his son was the recruit in question -- he's always been a know-nothing. His height/weight embellishment was legendary. I can't count how many DEs and LBs we were on who were 6-3, 240 and showed up in the media guide a year later at 6-1, 215. Reading an Otis Kirk height/weight is like listening to a fishing story from your grandfather, always subtract a few inches and pounds.
