His feet are not set set to deliver a hit nor does he have a set base to absorb one. He's focused on the ball and exposed. Coryatt is what 240 lb or more and his feet are set with a good base. His body "IS" in motion towards the receiver, his hips are flexed and his right shoulder lowered to deliver the blow. Did he jack the guy up? Most definitely, but it's the legal equivalent to a cheap shot. For the record I have no problem with the hit and as previously stated in the thread love to see my team get one in like it. But as far a respect, the Atwater hit carries ten time the weight than the Coryatt hit. To fill the hole on a 250 lb RB and "BOTH" players see the collision coming and you still send the RB backwards, that's impressive.
