I don't argue that La Tech should not have been a tough game for A&M but the fact was it was a 5 hour game that finished at 1AM on the road and was an emotional roller coaster that came after a similar roller coaster road win with Ole Miss.

It's no excuse, A&M needed to show up to play against LSU and LSU came in better prepared and took care of business. Props. It's just as stupid though to say Bama gets a pass for losing to A&M though because they had a tough game with LSU the week before. You have to show up to play every week, period.

It's an overblown talking point but at the same time it was a very physical game as it always is and it can't be discounted entirely as a factor in both of our games the following week as it has been most of the time the last 6 years. I know you haven't been around to know how physical and personal that game gets between those two team (not even talking about the fans at all right now) but it's just the way it has been.

Only bottom tier SEC teams play road games at LaTech, Troy, UCF, Frenso St., etc.
