Wilcox seems to like the scheme (Boise State, Tennessee and UW). He did well with it at BSU - a lot has to do with the players.

I think there is such a talent disparity in college football, the only truly good schemes are the ones that exploit difference makers. Without difference makers, your defense will be anemic and stale regardless of scheme. A&M had Von Miller a couple years ago, the best defensive player in all of college football. It wouldn't have mattered what they ran as long as they were putting him in position to make plays.
