So if Saban and Alabama is the benchmark, why isn't Sumlin's perfect record against the Tide taken in to consideration?

He would have to enjoy a sincere victory over LSU first. At present, Sumlin is Miles bitch.
In fact, it's a very short list of those enjoying a winning record over Miles.

Too much of a small sample pool. Let's wait another three or four years and reassess the situation? Maybe one or BOTH might not be at their current school.
